For My Daughter.....

My DD completed esthetician (skin care expert) school a few months ago. She recently moved back to California and will be setting up shop toward the end of this month. She will be using travel pillows on her tables, which need special cases and pillow liners. I've been working on these and I will make a few runners for her display areas as well.

These are fun to make and are a great project for using some of my stash!

Really pretty! What do you mean by special liners? I can guess it's for skin, but what is it?

By law the pillows must have inner protective liners that can be removed and sanitized. Sometimes clients will try to adjust their own pillow and they shouldn't be able to touch the actual pillow if their hand goes inside the pillowcase. The liners and the pillowcases have to be replaced with clean ones for each client. There is a lot of laundry in this career and sanitary laws are super strict. My DD wouldn't have it any other way...she's a clean freak, so this is a good career choice for her.
