    Aussie Tote (Yep..Another Tote)

    Hi again All,
    Some family friends of ours had a Japanese exchange student come stay with them for a few weeks last year, and we spent some time with her. She loved it here so much that she came back again for another 2 weeks.
    I thought it might be nice to send her home with a home made Aussie Souvenir. I had this nice Aboriginal art fabric in my stash, so I fussy cut and bordered it.
    She really loved it, so that made me happy.
    Thought I could leave Jean in peace, and try the zipper all by my big self.....I got so far alone, then had to wake her up and get her over here. I'll get it sooner or later, Jean.

      Lenore, this is as gorgeousas you are brilliant! And our Jean is an amazing woman. There! Now two of my of favorite forum friends mentioned in the same post. Who's brilliant now, lol.

          Ooooooh! I LOVE your tote! The fabrics are to die for. I'm sure your student will treasure it. I hope she comes back for another visit and becomes part of your extended family. I had a Norwegian student for a year and it was quite an interesting experience.

                      Love it! The fabrics are beautiful! I have some similar in my stash. The tote is a great gift I am sure she will treasure.
