And best of all it was free!!

This is one of those projects that I would work on off and on again so it took a lot longer than it should have. But it kept me sane while I was working on the 'quilt top from h*ll' because when I got to the point I wanted to throw in the towel on that hated project, I could pull this project out and start to feel accomplished again. It's made from my husband's old jeans and flannel pajama bottoms so it didn't cost me any thing at all except time and thread. It's heavy and quite durable so I can see the family using this both indoors and out. And did I mention, it cost nothing to make?

It's all fun and games until the bobbin runs out.

I love it, free!!! I should teach my daughter to do this. She just started sewing. This would be a great project for her

Wonderful quilt. I love those toss around and use it all the time quilts. This quilt will be loved.

Oh-I love this! What a great idea and it is perfect to snuggle under. Plus it's not delicate (a big plus in my home which is all men and boys except me).

I bet your hands are happy all the fringe cutting is finished.

I love your rag quilt made from your DHs old clothes. We have a similar quilt that we use all the time. I love how casual rag quilts are and you don't have to worry about overusing them.

I used one of those Fiskars rag quilt scissors to cut the fringe. Best investment I ever made. I make a lot of fringed bibs, burb cloths, and baby blankets and couldn't do any of it without those scissors. They really take a burden off your hands.

Great rag quilt and a perfect use for jeans and p.j.'s. And free is even better!
