    A couple of blocks.

Here's a couple of the blocks for my quilt. I've got 11 done now and there's 20 needed for the centre of my quilt. I'm thinking I might change the design and use a few less, pmsl. I definitely think I was a bit too adventurous for my first quilt and I'm itching to do something else, lol. Still, I feel like I'm improving the more I do and I am enjoying myself, so I suppose that's all that matters really.

Well I think it looks like you have done a really great job. I love the colors and the pattern. I understand how it is to be overwhelmed, but an old quilter told me when I did my first block of the month, which is a 12"x12" square and 98 pieces of material, to just work on a small section at a time and it will all come together.

Is there a name for this quilt pattern? I would like to put it on my list of want to do's.

I think that is going to be a gorgeous quilt when it's finished. Love the fabrics you chose they are so complimentary.

Beautiful blocks! My first 5 quilts were just big half square triangles! This is really ambitious but what a work of art it will be!

You're doing a fantastic job lining up your units and leaving the right amount of space at your points. You must be a natural. Keep going. Sometimes those blocks with lots of units get a little tedious, but once you have a bunch made, you'll be excited to see it all come together. The colors are beautiful. Can't wait to see if finished!
