Very nice. Did you use the easy dresden template and/or Jenny's tutorial? Are you going to tackle a whole dresden quilt. I got the ruler but haven't tried it yet...on the bucket list. Anyway....nice job. Thanks for sharing.

I sure do like that dresden plate, Pam. I like the colors and the way you place the blades. I really want to make some of those. I want to make the kind that have the rounded ends so I can easily face them and turn them right side out. It'd be fun to do them for each season of the year.

i dont think i will ever do a whole quilt....but the small pads/mats or wall-hangings are great. i have a few made up with christmas fabric....not backed and batted yet though....

they arent that hard at all...using the easy dresden ruler. this one has the 5 in blades...so easy to use with charm packs as well...

Very pretty! the dresden and the card, I too am a card maker, I have lots of hobbies besides sewing. I ordered the dresden ruler and a cham pack about 2 weeks ago, I have made 3 dreden plates and have appliqued them to 3 blocks, I plan on bordering them and making a table runner. I am so new, it is a little scary going to the next step, but I will get there, and hopefully one day upload the pics. Your block inspires me to continue on. Thanks for sharing.

You know you've had too much coffee when you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.
