    Kids Tote Bags

    Hi All,
I actually managed some more small projects this weekend. Haven't done a lot lately being so hot here. Nice days yesterday and today.
DD was invited to a double Birthday party for a couple of her classmates that was on today. Invitation said something about not needing to bring gifts. What 9 year old doesn't want a Birthday gift? I really was not up for not sending DD along empty handed.
Instead of heading out to the store to buy toys, I economised and shopped my stash instead. Made them a zippered tote each, which I hope they will like. They had not opened any gifts when I picked her up, so do not know yet if they were a hit or a miss.
I did have to have Jean over again to show me the zipper bit (yet again), but I am sure I will get the hang of it eventually.
    Thanks for looking.

Too cute - I'm sure the girls loved them. And I never attempt that zipper maneuver without Jean in the house.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Those re perfect gifts. I still need to learn the whole zipper thing. the GD's have become known at their school as the 'tote givers' for Christmas gifts. Guess I will be making teacher totes for at least 6 more years.
