    pinwheel churndash progress

I finished sewing all my blocks together. They're not perfect but I'm pleased. I am planning on a thin white border to frame the blocks and a second border, but that will have to wait because I'm sick as a dog with a nasty chest cold and cough. My brain is foggy and I don't dare cut fabric. I just thought I would share and would love to see other's progress on this quilt.

So sorry to hear about your cold! Spoil yourself with lots of rest. Have the family wait on you hand and foot. That's my non-professional opinion.

I really like this quilt. I agree with the white border, maybe 3" or so? It will open the whole thing up and make the blocks seem to float.

New York Sue used a white border on her Irish Chair quilt and it was the perfect choice. http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/sho...-finished.html

Thanks for sharing your quilt top! Let's see it with your border when you've chosen it and sewn it on. This is going to be a really lovely quilt when it's all finished! I hope you're really happy with how it's turning out. You should be.

I like this quilt a lot.... And, I agree that a single white border would be perfect.. Your blocks will shine...

Sorry you are so sick.... A chest cold can make you feel so awful... Smart girt nit to cut fabric.. I hope you are well soon, so you can finish this lovely quilt, and show it to us.

Your quilt looks great! I hope you're feeling better today. There's a lot of nasty "head stuff" going around here too.
