Crazy quilt layout

My hubby took individual pictures of each block and put then in a design program he uses.

Then we we sat down together and moved them, turned them to put them in what we felt was the best placement.

This is a quilt for our bed.

It is reminiscent of crazy quilts made on this property generations before us by his Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

I hope to finish it this weekend.

Thank you! I finished 2 standard pillow cases last night. Today I will sew the top together today. AND then maybe sammich it!!

Yes, my husband is really 'into ' keeping up traditions. It means so much to him.
