    Mom is playing with blocks again...

    When my 18 yo daughter saw the blocks in a pile she said - "I really don't like those colors", after she saw the layout she said "ooohhh, that changes everything!" I think we may be learning to quilt together; she definitely likes picking out fabric! I'm pretty sure this will be the final layout for my first 'practice' quilt...

    Welcome to the forum, Songbird! Your layout looks great. Just noticed you are from Springfield... I live in Bloomfield, CT (just north of Hartford). Where do you shop for fabric?

      Thank you Sally I've been picking up precuts here at M* (have to force myself not to by the DD all of the time!); I also love to check Hobby Lobby - they have some nice stuff. I also like JoAnn's, especially with a coupon, and I have been to the one in Manchester, CT - huge! Oh, and I can't forget Osgoods here in West Spfld - if you haven't been there it's worth the drive. So much fabric under one roof it's ridiculous!
