    OZ piece of cake

image.jpgPlan to use this pattern for a few novelty print quilts. It's from Quilt in a Day, A Piece of Cake. This is the third OZ quilt I've made for my bf, she loves this movie. image.jpg. I used my proStitcher to quilt in some Oz motifs.

I adore this quilt! I have some Oz fabrics, and hated to cut it up into little pieces, this would work great for it! Looks like a giant D9P quilt with sashing. I need to look this pattern up, thanks for sharing it!

Very nice quilt. I like the sashing you put around the blocks, it makes them pop. Your friend will love this.

Love this! I really like your thin sashing. Just enough to show off the blocks.

This is wonderful--I love The Wizard of Oz. I was actually looking at some of the Oz fabric at fabric.com, but didn't buy any. I may have to rethink that. Great looking quilt!

I went and watched the video. She is just to wacky. lol I liked seeing all the examples. And I did learn about the center square going on opposite sides in every row. I probably would of messed up such a simple thing by getting all ocd about it.

I skipped a few parts so just one question. Is the sashing cut at 1 1/2 ''?

Your quilt is beautiful. I have a basket of wizard of oz fabric. Purchased over a years time. From ebay, quilt shops, and other online places. I too am chicken to cut into it and do it wrong.

I wanted to do something with the yellow brick road going through it to each picture. I just need to find the nerve and get it up on the design board. I have more than enough for a king quilt with pillow cases. Those panels are so so pretty
