Re: Pinwheel quilt
Awesome job, Mary!
First rule in quilting?
NEVER point out your flaws! It finished lovely.
When I first started a couple of years ago, my binding was rather crude. (I always machine tack the front and hand sew the back. I'm too much of a sissy to attempt an 'all machine' binding...)
I confronted the binding monster by making a dozen, or so, sets of potholders out of cheap FQs.
I can now 'hold my own' with binding, and am pleased with the result. (I can send off a couple of my favorite tutorials, I found along my journey, just PM me.)
There is a huge learning curve here, chica!
You done good!I really need to get off the exclamation point.
It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

Re: Pinwheel quilt
Thanks for all the nice posts of encouragement and complements. I did sew the binding on front and hand sew the back. I felt I needed to stabilize it better and would try my first attempt at stitching in the ditch on the front side of binding. I made 1 of 3 corners and had a few oops along the way. No matter how many quilts you make, you learn from each and every one of them.

I love pinwheel quilts and yours came out so nicely. Your points all match! You chose some great fabrics, too. Very nice job!Cyndi
