Here is my Dressed to the Nines quilt top. It's our own Jenny's pattern from the Fall 2013 Quilting Quickly. I just fell in love with the fabric and ordered the kit. It was very fast to put together and I think it's beautiful. I don't have backing fabric yet (I bought some but it's not quite right) so I might just use black backing and black thread to quilt an all-over design (TBD!) That's #2 project from my bins of 'to dos'...going to have lots of quilting to do when I get my batting!

Re: Dressed to the Nines Quilt Top
Love it! I'm finishing up one for my daughter using yardage from this line, but since DD is not a fan of the green I added a little blue.My friends call me Peggy
The government calls me Mary Margaret

Re: Dressed to the Nines Quilt Top
I love this pattern but I'm at a standstill after I've cut out all the 5"squares. I'm making this for an 11 yr old boy so I'm using a few sports fabrics and some others to contrast. I need to know, did you vary the order of the 5"squares to make the 9-patch blocks? Was there an order you used to do that? The picture looks like the order was varied, but the directions don't say to do that or not to do that. They're a little vague. Any tips you have on this would be very much appreciated.
