Cute Surrounded by Love Doll Quilt

Here is a fun and easy idea for Valentine's day gift. I took one of the Moda Surrounded by Love Mini Charm Packs and cut it using the 2 1/2 tumbler. Sewed the blocks together and used Spin - Med Floral Pink Yardage for the backing and binding. I had never quilted on the machine and thought this project would be perfect to try stitching in the ditch. It worked ok but next time I will press the top better and use the correct foot. I had enough material leftover to make a doll pillow. My daughter loved it.

I can see why she loved it. Very pretty. For fmq it is good to use a little starch and press really good
