    Caleb's Quilt

In the fall I bought some Cat in the Hat fabric online, and in order to get free shipping, I also bought some circus animal fabric for DS/DIL#3's new baby. Then I went to JoAnn's on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) and found a ton of flannel on sale for $1.77 per yard, AND there was a coupon for 25% off my entire order. So I bought a couple of yards each of blue, pink, & green checks, and a yard of the froggy flannel. Well, DIL liked the circus animals, but fell in love with the froggies, so here's what I came up with:

Pretty pleased with how this came out - used the green to back it, and leftover blue for the binding.
    Thanks for looking!

Thanks! It's about 40" x 44" finished. I cut the froggy fabric in 5.5" squares, and cut 3" strips of the blue and green checks. Then I stitched the blue & green strips together lengthwise and sliced across to make more 5.5" squares. There are 28 froggy squares and 28 blue/green squares. I used the rest of the froggy flannel for the border.
