Added these 2 quilts to my project...haven't given them to anyone yet, but I know who I am giving the purple one to...someone I work with who is very young and is a 1 year survivor of cervical cancer.

Re: 2 more added to my oncology project
The one on the left is all scrub material, the one on the right has part of one scrub top. It is mostly left over material from the purple lone star quilt that I made27c. I was going to say it reminded me of that quilt. Also was going to say that if it all came from scrubs they sure do have some better looking scrubs than they used to.K is for Karen 😊 Albuquerque, NM..................

Re: 2 more added to my oncology project
I gave this one to a gentleman yesterday. He has lung cancer and was having a lot of anxiety, which makes breathing even more labored. When he was finally resting quietly I put this quilt over him; he opened his eyes and was so surprised to see the quilt. I told him it was for him and he was so very appreciative. He said that no one had ever given him anything so beautiful and that he just might cry. It's these special moments that drive my desire to make these lap quilts for my patients.
Love my job...love my oncology patients...love to see their smiles!LIVE well, LAUGH often, LOVE much
