    Quilt till you Wilt

Well, our quilt retreat came and went, and I finished two tops!!
I have them in the albums here. One is TEN years old!!!! I decided it was EITHER getting finished OR it was going away!

The second was made out of two jelly rolls I received for Christmas from our own Shannon Saulter.... It's a jelly roll race quilt. I am CONSIDERING cutting it into 4 quarters and adding wide, wide sashing and making 4 lap quilts, but for the moment it is one....

SO nice to get away and QUILT!

I love that Basket quilt. I would not cut the Jelly Roll Race into fourths, I'd cut it in half and make two with borders. It's wide enough for that.

True. But four could be four baby quilts!!! ah, so many thoughts....

Baskets quilt is really pretty. You could maybe do three stips out of the jelly roll quilt. That should be a perfect size baby quilt with a small border. Would look great. Actually whichever way you choose will be good. I like the colors.

I like them both. My vote of course would be 4 baby quilts. You could add a little applique to them. Oh the ideas I would have.

Love them both - 4 baby quilts, each with a border and some applique, would be fabulous!

                          LOL! Thanx all!
See NEVER finished! I haven't taken the jelly roll out to press, or to look at fabrics for wide sashing, etc...so....

The Basket Case quilt needs some "non"redwork inside the large basket.... possibly cats, or possibly sewing supplies,...not "finished" either, but certainly enough done that it is happening!
