Purple & Gray

Ready for quilting…had a request for purple and gray, and really worked at figuring out how that might happen. Light and dark flying geese made it work! The purple piece hanging on the right is the binding -- just checking to see how it would look. The top is still hanging on my design wall…hence the bottom is bunched a bit.

I love purple & lavender, so I really like your fabric selection. Show us again when it's all quilted. I like the fabric you chose for the binding. My LA quilter told me to use contrasting (darker) fabrics for the bindings. I've followed her advice--most of the time. Did you make the flying geese, or are all those HSTs? JCY

And I'm not really a fan of the chevron.....
