This is going to be my quilt. I have the backing ready, it will be the same as the outside border. I need to get the batting as soon as I go to town.

and yes it's Ellie Ann. Hubby and I have separate rooms because of his bad back...so I can 'girly' mine up. My entire room is going to be Ellie Ann. I'm making the quilt, curtains, pillow cases and pillows. I went to an antique shop and got some runners and mats for my furniture. Some are embroidered and some are crocheted. DH is going to get some things that need fixed in my room finished up and paint it. I want it painted cream so if I get tired of Ellie Ann I can kick her out and do something else.

I really like the idea that you are using the border fabric as the back. But, is it wide backing fabric or did you have to piece it? Just wondering if they came out with wide backs for that line of fabric.
I have some of the fabric for a "Me" quilt but am still collecting. Just about finished with a "DH" quilt!VonnieComment
