    first raggy dog blanket

    finished my first raggy dog blanket. 2 more to go. it was fun, but a bit finger aching as well as wrist aching.
    one of the french boxers will fit on such a small blankets.

              great idea !!! did you make a 9 patch and then add borders???? ...you just gave me an idea to make one for my dog......

                    Thanks for your supporting comments. Have 2 more quilt to make for the 2 other grand-French bulldogs.

                    Lisa - they were easy to do. Just squares, some batting in the middle and curtain fabric on top. Quilt an X with the machine and add them seam outwards . In the end just sew around the edges of the whole blanket. Cut the seam open. I washed the blanket in an old pillow case (to avoid to many loose fabric in the machine) along with 2 tennis balls. That gives them a bit more ragginess????I think.
