Wow she did a fantastic job on that tote.

I got each of my DGD's a Rainbow Loom for Christmas....they love that kind of stuff. They like doing crafts and I might see if they want to spend some time with me this spring/summer and learn to sew.

That is so cool! You are passing on the love of sewing to another family as well as another generation!

P.S. I see the Rainbow Loom bracelets are very popular with your girls!

    DGD's BFF Made a Tote

All by herself. Except cutting the fabric. I have Chloe ( MY oldest GD's BFF), almost as much as my own 3 GK's. Last week, while they were out of school because of the weather, she started talking about making a tote for herself, on her own. I got the gist of he size she wanted, and let her go through my stash and pic what she wanted. I cut the fabric. I sat her at my machine, out the 1/4" w/guide on for her. I showed her what to do and turned the machine down to very slow, so that it was easier for her to get the seams right. She did the entire think all by herself except the cutting and top stitching. She is sooooo proud of that bag. She takes it every where with her. BFF on left, DGD on right. ( the glasses GD is wearing, have no lenses. She just likes them. Like her granny she dances to a different beat, and is her own person.)
