Jenny's tutorial Make a "Light and Dark" Quilt Using Turnovers inspired me to make a quilt like this... I've just finished the top but I like the way it turned out.

I used Kona "Ash" and Kaffe Fassett charm squares. Since this is a throw-size quilt, I will quilt it myself. Not the best photograph but when one works all day to support one's quilting habit, there's not much natural light available when it comes to taking photos...

Very nice. I like your color placement . . . . I know what you mean about supporting your habit. On top of that, my camera's flash doesn't work (since I drug it through the bay) Oops. I ordered a new one so I could take better photos. I want to catch the birds outside also. Hopefully, they'll bring some inspiration next winter when I really have time to quilt. Right now, it's just bits of time.
