    Finished my Brentwood Bag!

Well I got right at sewing this morning...well after hubby told me he wanted pumpkin pie for his B'day (tuesday) Didn't tell me when I went shopping Sat , nor when we went back to town to get him tools to use on his truck at work. He waited til this morning while we were laying in bed to tell me he wanted pumpkin pie for B'day. So off we went to town for the fixins. In the oven and I can finally sew. Wasn't too bad I think it came out cute.

I am amazed at how your purse turned out! You have zippers inside and out! Wow. I assume you had a pattern for this purse since it has a name. I see a button on the outside of it. Does it have a button hole to hold the outside pocket closed?

Thank you! This is the pattern for the bag. It wasn't that bad . I cut everything yesterday took about an hour and then did the outer shell then took a break and came back and did the lining. No button on the outside pocket I think your looking at a flower on in the design. It is a little bit bigger then I usally carry but I really like it. The top zips shut and there is a zippered pocket on one side of the lining and 4 pockets on the other.

Great bag...I am allergic to zippers or I would try one. Looks like you did an excellent job.

                    It's very cute! I haven't attempted a bag yet.
Btw, we have pumpkin pie on the agenda this week. DH is having oral surgery and I thought it would be something easy for him to eat.

That turned out great! I see the exact spot Joyce saw when she mentioned the button. I had to enlarge the picture to see it was a flower ... sneaky little thing.
