    Pleasantly surprised!

    photo.JPG

This is my first disappearing 9 patch done with scraps that I had. I am pleased and surprised at how big the blocks are. I am also happy that I found enough scraps to make a quilt that will be larger than just a baby quilt. I made children's clothes for years and I have a lot of children's themed fabric. So...I thought that I would try to use some of it up. I'm happy at the outcome!

that's turning out so well! I love love love scrap quilts. I think the more different fabrics you use (as long as the colors don't clash too much) the more interesting it will be. Almost like an I Spy quilt

Looks Great....I just made my very first Disappearing 4 Patch. While there's a couple of minor flaws in mine, I am still pretty pleased with it. No photo yet, DH has my iPhone !

Cute! I love the bright colors and fun prints!

I just made my first D9P blocks too! I liked how easy it was and now am having fun arranging and re-arranging them on the design wall. Mine are totally scrappy from squares that I won in one of Cyndi's mini contests. Thanks again Cyndi! Can't decide if they are going to be a table runner or a couple of bereavement quilts.
