Started a table runner to remember our vacation by the ocean. Decided wonky would be appropriate so I gave it a try. Colors represent all the colors of the ocean and sky. Trim and binding will probably be off-whites and/or beiges to represent the sand and clouds. This was really hard; thank God there are no quilt police!

Re: Wonky UFO
Thanks Deb. I think the irregular died (don't know what it's really called) fabric and the wonky seams really make it look like water. I was hoping it would work out that way. Hey, sometimes things actually go right....even in my life!!! LOL;)Nancy
I got a sewing machine for my husband. Good trade, huh!?!

Re: Wonky UFO
Beautiful table runner, Nancy... it does indeed make me think of ocean waters...You know you've had too much coffee when you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.

Re: Wonky UFO
I think it's very nice. The heck with the quilt police. . . . they only count when you're entering a contest. When it's for yourself or your family or friends, it's what you like. You did great. Colors are great and I find that the curves are really beautiful and fairly easy to do.Linda L Maurer, Peach Bottom, PA
