Gina, is it electric or battery operated? What do you mean that it doesn't stitch smoothly? Are the stitches uneven or is the actual sewing kinda jerky?
Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,
it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.
it has a power cord... but could work on c sized batteries... kinda jerky... stitches are consistent. i can use it for piecing... i like it... but perhaps not good for teaching ... at least not yet any way...
The fire fighter in me says don't leave it plugged in when unattended. It is really a great gift for a kid. I'm sure she will get better and better with it. Love you, Jan
