Bug basket.jpgRaggy quilt.jpgThis is my first raggy quilt which only came out okay due to forum member Patticakes! When I washed it the red flannel bled and the polka dot fabric turned to a pink background. I flew to the forum and shouted for HELP! and thankfully Patticakes was online and clued me in to color catcher. Flew to Walmart at 11:30 p.m. and then washed again. Still a little pink fuzz, but I think a lint roller or the next wash will eliminate. The burp rags were done on my embroidery machine and says 'Even a Lady has to burp'. The whole basket is for a silent auction for Rainbow village - a group here that rehabs residential homes for older disabled individuals whose parents are deceased, elderly, or can no longer care for them. Also in the basket is the book 'The Grouchy Ladybug' - one of my favorites and also how I felt when I pulled it out of the wash the first time. (Well, I was more than grouchy actually) THANKS PATTICAKE - You saved me!!!
