I like! Thinking of doing one myself. Wonder if you could make it into placemats instead. Might try.

Missie, this turned out terrific! After seeing yours and the others posted, I may seriously consider making one for my sister.
Actually perhaps for a few ladies from church who have been helping me out with my Mom since I haven't been able to be with her. I think a handmade pressie for these gals is just what they need!
Well, thanks for helping me make up my mind, Missie! It is sooooo good to have you with us.

do you just stick sides together and then turn this? I've seen them on this site, too, and I've always liked them.

that shud be a link to the tutorial. and yes u sew wrong sides together with the batting in there and flip it right sides out. It look me about 4 hrs to make it start to finish. I think the longest part is deciding which fabric square goes where.

Thanks for the kind words too : )

This is absolutely beautiful now I really want to make one but I can't remember where I found the pattern and I remember being confused about clipping the v's ( I am new at quilting) can you explain to me what that means? I really want to try this.

You clip into the seam line. But don't cut the seam.Like a( L )inside you clip where the side and bottom meet. That helps with the bulk.
