Rail Fence block Baby quilt with sanctuary charm pack

This is the most recent baby quilt I made. This is the first time I have used the rail fence block. I loved working with it. It was really fun and easy. I put a sanctuary charm pack with some novelty fabric that has lady bugs, butterflies and flowers on it. I also mixed cotton fabric with flannel fabric. I always heard that was a no-no, but I really don't know why. I went together wonderfully. I think little ones like the softness and like to cuddle with flannel. I hope some little girl will love this quilt someday.

Ive just finished a pink baby quilt with a flannel back and its so snuggly and warm. Babies love it x

So bright and cheerful - and I agree, flannel is snuggly good for babies. Great job!
