    Keeping busy

It's been busy busy busy at my house, or houses I should say. Moved house this weekend but starting to settle in and dug out my quilting to make it feel like home. This is the quilt top I've started for my boyfriend's parents. They're working out in Oman at the moment and we're going to visit for new year so I thought I would make them a quilt with my new found skills.

Here's a zoomed in picture which gives you more of an idea of the patterns.

Then, to top everything off, I got a note to say my pre-cuts from MSQC had arrived in the UK and were ready to pick up at the post office. I made the mistake of picking them up on the way to work and was distracted the whole day! As soon as I got home I sat down to set them out. I'm going to use them for a disappearing 9-patch so I've organised them into blocks of 9. I love them!!

Congrats on the move! I like the first quilt pattern. I love the fun of the disappearing 9-patch too. I am sure it will be a welcome gift.

Those are fantastic patterns you've got going on there! The top one looks like a variation on a double hourglass style quilt! Whatever it is I love it! :P
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.
