SCRAPS, SCRAPS AND SOME MORE SCRAPS

I have used up some more scraps this weekend. Made some hairpins for my granddaughter and my daughter-in-law.

Some handmade tulips will help a good friend of mine who's in the hospital get better. At least he doesn't have to water them.

        You're sew creative!!

I have never seen the fabric tulips...they would look so cute on an Easter dinner table!!
I'll be heading to the J store this week to browse through the craft patterns, hoping to find something similiar!!

No, just scraps. But easy to do, sort of half a circle, but a bit oval, that is for the flower. Sew right side to right together, turn over, fill with a rest of batting, stitch bottom together. In the middle I used a bendable metal stick from my husband's stash. I put a small button thru it to hold it in place. As for the green leaves, just sewed a longish form and fill it with cotton-wool.
Hope you understand my instructions, it's not always easy to translate.
