Got my order in from MSQC last week and just went crazy with my new Circle Cut Ruler. If you don't have one of these yet, I highly recommend it. It's not as easy as it looks at first, but once you get the hang of it...well you'll know. I also managed a Disappearing 9 Patch which works up so quickly I was shocked (about 3 hours to complete the quilt top). All I have to do now is get some backing fabric and get these babies quilted!!

Re: Baby Quilts
I can spend the day in my sewing room and can't do a quilt top in a day - let alone a few hours. Everyone must be more efficient than I am . . . but I'll bet no one is as organized . . .
okay, beautiful quilt tops and I am very envious . . . and that's my story - I'm sticking to it.Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,
it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.

Re: Baby Quilts
Your quilt tops are so cute! Glad to hear your review of that cuz I bought the circle thingie but haven't used it yet, too many other projects to finish first!
I agree on the D9P - such a quickie to put together. I did one in an afternoon out of a layer cake. It's taking me months to get the backing for it tho!
Can't wait to see these when they are done, thanks for sharing them!

Re: Baby Quilts
I have yet to do a nine patch, or a circle quilt for that matter. I did use the circle ruler for my 1/4" circle for the grandmothers fan swap though. It worked perfectly. It made it so easy. Just did a 7 inch circle and 1/4'rd it. Worked great. I do have all the fixings for a layercake circle quilt and can't wait to get started on it.
Your quilts are very nice. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Jan LHome, where each lives for the others and all live for God! ><(((((o>
