Your pillowcase looks wonderful. Aren't they so much fun to make!
My youngest DD has several I've made, loves them made from flannel.

Did you do the roll-up method on the pillowcase? I need to try that - a friend showed me how but that's been several months ago.

That is such a cute pillow case.......... great job and colors too.

Sandy, those tube pillow cases are so much fun to make. Be careful because they are addictive too... lol

pillowcases 002.jpgI have made a number of the tube pillowcases and, Mia, you are right...they ARE addictive. These are only a few of the first ones I made. I am making them and donating to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, OH; since some of those kids are in there for weeks or months, I thought maybe having something bright may cheer them up a bit and something they can take home with them other than stitches.

Love those pillow cases!! Someone on this forum said that they gave pillowcases as get well gifts - thought that was a fabulous idea and will do that too.

I have made alot and donated them to another children's hospital in Ohio and they were very well received. I really need to make more of them, once my new job schedule settles down a bit.

What cute pillows and what a neat way of making them! Loving it!

What size is the finished pillow case?
I ask because the Norwegian standard for a pillow is about 20X28 in inches.

Our pillows are usually enveloped sort of on one of the short sides
but fancier can have buttons or ribbons. You always have open ones?
