    Hi Blondie,

It takes twenty to make a plate....... and they are sew much fun. Pardon the pun ...... but it just popped up ... lol I love the idea of making quilts from your friend's dad's shirts....... what an awesome way to keep memories

That table runner is so pretty. Thank you for sharing.

      Re: Dresdens

Blondie the hardest part for me has been keeping a 1/4 inch seam. I can't tell you how many I've ripped apart. I finally bought qtools from a site I found online. If you've never heard of them.... they are little strips of plastic that you put on your machine and you can cut them to fit. The other one (same company) goes on your ruler so all you do is make sure you have a straight edge to begin with and you mark your ruler (with the strip) and cut away.

Your Dresdens are very pretty Mia!

I have a couple of charm packs of Bar Harbor and have been thinking about using them for the Dresden. You have inspired me!

I'm so glad Sheila......... and I love Bar Harbor too. IN fact..... my problem is there aren't many precuts that I don't love lol.

Let us see your dresden's when you are finished

I feel that way about the precuts too. I don't live too far from the Moda warehouse in Dallas. I've been trying to figure out how to get myself locked in there overnite so I can look at all the fabric!

                    Re: Dresdens fever

Its look like Dresden fever caught all of us. My current project also Dresdens for single bed. Thinking of making heart shape instead of circles in the middle. Thanks to Jennys tutorials, made our lives easy.
