    Cat quilt finished

Just finished another quilt that my Mother did the embroidery work on the blocks. Have more to put together but need idea's for a different way to put together other than the material between the blocks, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sue

Beautiful quilt Sue! Uhmm....ideas for other ways to put together.....what if you had a quilt where you used the embroidered blocks as the border around a central area of pieced quilting? Just a thought.

I think your quilt is great, and what a treasure that they are your Mom's handwork.
I like SewBee's idea of using the embroidered blocks as a border around a central pieced area.
Great work and thanks for sharing!

Maybe you could make one of Jenny's easy aprons for each of the ladies in the family that might like to have something from your mom. You could use 2 of the blocks for the pocket on each apron.

Of, create a wall hanging of some sort, 4 blocks per wall hanging.

That is a beautiful quilt. As a cat lover and owner of three I am biased. Could you make matching pillow shams using some of the blocks? Or string them together for a curtain valance to match? I like the apron idea. It's always great to share! It makes you feel so good.
