    Mill House Inn Strippy Quilt

I'm not sure whether I've posted a similar quilt before. This is the twin of a quilt I made last year. I made a mistake while cutting it out so had to buy another jelly roll to correct the mistake. This meant I had enough for two quilts, the exact mirror of each other.

The first one was taken to Texas as a present when my mum went to Houston Quilt market (very very jealous). This one was supposed to go up for sale but instead it's keeping me warm in the cold northern winter in my student accommodation.

Sorry I can't get any better pictures, my room isn't big enough to lay it out on the floor!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the colors and I love the design. Cuddle up and stay warm in it.

Love the quilt! Your colors are really pretty, and I'm scratching my head here trying to figure out how you made the design. It looks like it was hard to do! Great job!

Jill, Love, love, love your quilt! How great that a mistake led to being able to make 2 of them and one of them is keeping you snug and warm! Completely jealous here, that's for sure.
I am curious on how you did it too. I 'think' I know, but I don't trust myself to have it right.
Love the 3D look and movement of the blocks.

How pretty! Good thing you made that mistake so you could keep one and still give one away.

It was really easy, it just involved sewing four strips together at a time and cutting them into triangles. I'll write up some directions as soon as I can. My mistake was in cutting out the triangles so I'll try and emphasize that bit!

How beautiful... and how wonderful you turned your "oops" into an opportunity to make TWO quilts!
