Candy Cane Lane Bench Pillow, by Kimberbell…

I finished my pillow right on time for this weekend Christmas decorating. It is so cute…. This is the sewing version so applique is turned edged plus hand embroidery….still OK but hand embroidery definitely improving….. Going to make an 18” Christmas pillow next..have no clue what I’m making but will tackle that this coming week.

                I love this so much!

I just looked into getting the kit for this, but shipping alone was over $40. With exchange it would be over $160CAD. Nope! Lol. I do love it though.

Rainy days are for quilting. Thank goodness I live in a rainforest! 😁

Fabulous pillow. Each detail is so cute. The background quilting design adds another nice dimension. Thanks for sharing!

I’m so surprised that Canada doesn’t carry Kimberbell products to purchase regionally. That is a bummer on the cost.

Edit: I found a shop in Canada that has the kit & pattern. The kit comes with the embellishments but you need to buy the pattern separately. Good luck!

Thank you! Looking forward to seeing your embroidery machine version…it will be so much neater in the details then mine.

Love it! My hand embroidery leaves a lot to be desired so I would have to opt for the machine embroidery version.

I love your pillow! You did a fantastic job!

Unfortunately, it's still about $150 CDN for the fabric, pattern and embellishment kit if purchased from a local shop. So I'll also have to give it a pass.
