    Seminole Square piecing

Just got done watching Misty in the new Missouri Star tutorial for the Diamond Ring table runner. So cute by the way!
Got a tickle over the technique she had shared for making the Seminole square border. Coincidentally I had used the same technique in the this pink and lilac half square triangle patchwork top (the mitered stripe borders were easier than I thought they would be), and I used a the same method but with a wider center strip to make the border that I added to the top and bottom of a baby blanket I had done for a friend.

I love Seminole borders. I made a hanging gardens quilt, pattern from Cozy Quilt Designs, and just love it. I'm hoping to add it into the native quilt top that I am working on.
