Star light, star bright.....

....first star I made tonight! Actually, this is the first star I've ever made for a quilt. I've practiced making stars, but not for "real." I have to say that I'm happy with how it turned out. I won't have enough fabric to make the background the same, so I decided to make the four corners out of a different fabric. Kind of poor planning on my part. Now, only seven more to go.

I believe that block also goes by the name Nine-patch star, since it has the 9-P center. Lookin' good!
