    Irish Change Quilt

I worked on getting all the quilting removed and piecing the whole quilt together last night and today. I am very happy that I was able to get it all together including the borders. Instead of trying to make the cut up backing work I’m going to run to the quilt store tomorrow and pick up some more of the same that I had. I will use the stuff I had cut up for panels and wallhangings that I want to do. I’m really pleased with how it came out. Now to get it layered and then I will be hand quilting.

Your quilt is beautiful, Carlie! Did you use Grunge for your squares?

Barb, the squares are Petal Party Batiks. I chose those colors because of the colors, or what I remember anyway, in my sister-in-laws bedroom and after checking with my nieces. Then I picked out the colors for the pieced squares.

I can see now that I’m awake that your blocks aren’t Grunge. They are beautiful batiks!
