    Civil War Era

The multi color quilt is from a kit. The border that came with it wasn't something I thought looked good so I just left it off. I enjoyed making this pattern so I used some fat quarters and made the blue one. I did learn with the second one that in the centers I needed more contrast in the fabric .

    I don't see your quilt.

Very nice. I like them without the borders too.

Civil War quilts are my thing. I love these both. I think you're right about the second one needing a bit more contrast, but this would be something I would still love to have in my house. Great job!

Both are gorgeous. Excellent call on leaving the border off. I love it borderless..

I like both of those quilts. Isn't it great when you find a pattern that you love so much you make two of them? Thanks for the show.
