    Seeds of Gratitude

I finished the top and I love it! This collection by Susan Winget is just lovely! I'm sharing this now as with mama's move I'm not sure when it'll get done. If it doesn't...I'm hanging it as is this year! Haha. No one but us two at home will see it anyways this year. Lots of learning, a bit of picking, and a couple of oh wells later this is the end result...

                  It’s fabulous.

I can’t believe you made flying geese with plaid fabrics. Every line is so straight and all the pinwheels are going the right way. Congrats on a great finish and so quick too!

                    I didn't even notice that!

It almost looks like you appliqued them on!

I also didn't notice the flying geese until someone mentioned it. Love the fabrics. Great job on the piecing. I love it.

Thanks everyone!! This is definitely one of my best quilts so far...if not the best. Flying geese were new to me. I put the first side on wrong and had to pick, lol. Then they easy.I love the plaid as well. The binding will be blue plaid. All from the one fat quarter bundle. Since I didn't think to buy yardage for the borders, I pieced the border together. Hard to tell though.
