    I made an apron!

20200712_183218.jpg My daughter requested a couple aprons a while back. I looked for patterns everywhere but wanted a free one. Last night I went to M* and looked, I was going to breakdown and buy one. I ran across Jenny's tutorial for a tea towel apron.

I cut the fabric the size of a tea towel and turned in all edges 1/4 twice, sewed all around then used the tutorial. Abby had two requests purple and a turtle. It's a little long so the next one I'll make a little shorter. She wants a christmas one too..I picked the fabrics and will be starting that one now. Thanks for looking!! Rachel 20200712_183142.jpg

This is so cute! Could you tell me where you got your fabric? I've been looking for something similar for a couple of years. Years ago, I made myself a top from a similar type print and put a sheer fabric over that and made white pants to go with it. I wore that outfit completely out...and would love to make another one from a fabric like this.
        The turtle is so cute!
        Thanks for sharing!

I have lived all over this country and Germany so no telling how or where I got the fabric. Here's the info off the salvage. Hope that helps! I only have 1/2 a yard left.....hope that helps! Thanks!!

This is cute, I don't wear aprons actually, only if I'm in hist. costume, but that one looks good I would say kind of modern vintage, I would probably wear it.

Cute apron! That looks like a fun pattern with the pockets. Of course, the little turtle is darling too.

PS: Edit to add--- Did you see this one?
