    July 4th giveaway quilt

We will be celebrating Mike's 70th birthday with a picnic on July 4th. I had all the fabrics for this quilt in my stash and decided to make a quilt to give as a door prize at the picnic. Honestly, I'm not thrilled with the pattern. I chose it because it used a jelly roll and is one of the larger sizes. I hope one of his family members wins the drawing-- my family members all have lots of quilts!

Monique, when I read, "borders are closed," I started looking at the quilt's borders. It took me a minute to figure out that you were talking about the U.S./Canadian border. Duh!
