My first !!

just after christmas, I finished my first quilt! My youngest likes to cuddle up on the couch in it.
I was wondering, read somewhere that you should "sign" your quilt with your initials. Does anyone do that, and can you tell me how? I like the idea to make it even more personal.

You can just take a scrap of light colored material and write your name and date on it in pigma pens and then iron it to set the ink and then just hand sew it to the back of your quilt.
Some people actually make labels up on their computer and put the name of the quilt, to whom it is intended, the year made, their name and anything else they want to put on there.
Some people just hand embroider their name on the back somewhere. Usually at the bottom.
Guess it'a all up to you on how to accomplish it.

Lovely work! And for your first? I am so impressed.

I generally use a scrap piece of muslin and a pigma pen to personalize mine. But then, if I had an embroidery machine, I might would make it fancier, lol.
