    Panel Baby Quilt Finished

P1030967.JPGI finally got pics taken of the latest finish. This is only my 2nd finish of this year. It's a panel with "All Creatures Great & Small" theme & Noah's Ark. It has a wide border with corner stones. (I have yet to make a mitered corner!) I used Angela Walters FMQ pattern of the hook swirl. It's one of my favorite patterns & fills up the space quickly. I used Glide trilobal polyester thread. To save time, I did edge-to-edge quilting. I wish I knew how to rearrange the pics in the order I wanted them. Anyway, thanks for looking. Very nice! When I had my 4th(3rd boy...our daughter was baby no#2) and last baby I got to decorate a nursery(we had rented when the other kids were born and you couldn't change the walls or anything!) I decorated the nursery in Noah's Ark and my sister painted clouds on the ceiling and one corner where his changing table was. That nursery was so pretty and the baby wouldn't sleep in it. When he got about 4 months old he started wanting to sleep in each of the older kids bedrooms.....and I had a one of those portable playpens (they were a new thing in 1986 when he was born! (the only time he used the room was naptime and when we changed his diaper.)

I love Noah's Ark.......this is such a nice quilt! You did a great job!!

That is one of the sweetest baby quilts I've seen. You do lovely work!

If I ever got it all together, I'd be too tired to do anything with it.
