Jelly roll rug in teal and blue

Finished another jelly roll rug. I think it turned out pretty nice. Gonna be a Mother's Day present.

I love this!! I never paid much attention to JR rugs, mostly bc I thought you wouldn't be able to vacuum them. What's the diff between that and the JR Race quilt except the size?

All the other JR rugs I've seen have been oval. I really like the shape & colors of yours.

I don't know how well they vacuum, but I don't see why you couldn't throw it in the washing machine/dryer? Though I guess it might shrink a little now that I think about it...

That's soooo pretty! I weave rugs on a rug loom out of denim and cottons. I wash them on delicate and hang them to dry. They last for years.

I’ve made 4 of the oval ones. I just toss my rug in the washer and dry it in the sun on my deck rail. Comes out beautiful every time. Instead of vacuuming in between washes, I just take it outside and shake it.
