My ONLY hand made quilt . . .

I guess you can say it was hand made. My oldest GD's other GM left a kit for this Poppy Quilt when she passed away. No one else in the family would work on it so it was passed to me. I spent several months hand appliqueing and hand quilting this twin-size quilt and presented it to our GD for Christmas, 2000. Three weeks later she snuck Thera-Putty into her bedroom and got it all over the quilt and completely ruined it. Anyway, here's a picture of her receiving the quilt.

Wow - that's gorgeous. I guess she won't be getting another quilt too soon.

The quilt is absolutely stunning. Check with a reputable quilt shop or reputable dry cleaner & see what can be done to salvege the quilt. Hope you find good luck.

Oh, Carol-Ann, it it were only that simple. We took it to several dry cleaners and they all said no luck. The Thera-putty has a dye in it and nothing they could do would remove the color (bright yellow - and it clashed with the poppies.
