    batik table runner.jpg

I made this for a friend. It is my first time using batiks. The rainbow of batiks is a collection from Stonehedge. I jut may be working with batiks more often.

Beautiful table runner. Is it quilted? Quilt as you go? Or doesn't need quilting. I've done some double thicknesses of fabric table runners that didn't even need batting or quilting. Just curious.

I also love batiks. So many varieties and hues.

You want to know why I don't use batiks? It's because every one I have ever seen is truly spectacular and I just can't make up my mind. So, I have many, many bali rolls and still haven't opened them and made any cuts. And yardage? How can anyone ever choose????? I love your table runner and can easily understand why you say there are going to be many more batiks in your future.

That is so pretty! I love batiks! Agree with Sandy, I have 5 Bali Sushi rolls, and can't bear to break them open. It has to be very special for me to use these puppies!
