Hi Ladies,
First of all, I would like to thank the committee for awarding me with the honor of being the worst photographer in North Carolina. I never get the colors to be true, even using my photoshop program - of course, it may be that I am just a hopeless case.
Below is the table runner I made today for my daughter. Of course, it is hanging crooked, sigh.

What I did was sew strips like Jenny did in her tutorial. But I wanted a skinny table runner since DD has a small round table in her dining area. She also decorates in Americana Style, hence, the red white and blue Christmas trees.
I cut the trees and then free hand stars for their top. I decided to applique these to the red star fabric )I know, you can't see the gold stars), since I didn't have enough fabric to cut the way Jenny did in her tut.
I can see all my mistakes but know my DD won't see anything but something new for her table. Good thing!

These pics don't do justice. And they don't look Christmas-y in the pics but in person it just "darling". Thank you Jenny for getting my noodle going.
