Almost as addictive as quilting-more rope bowls

    bowls-3.jpgbowlsa-3008.jpg

What a great way to use leftover fabric. I always have strips left over from the backing (you know, the extra 4 inches all the way around).

I've got to get my butt in gear and make my own. I bought the cotton clothesline to do it. I just need more hours in the day!

I am ready to make a few of these. All I need is the clothesline. I want to make one for DH for Christmas out of Camo fabric to keep by his bed to throw his change, keys, and whatever else is floating around in his pockets.

Keep an eye out at JoAnns for when the notions wall goes on sale - you can get 100 feet rather cheaply (about $3 for each roll). I also order it online when I can't find it locally.

That is a neat idea for your hubby! I should make mine one for his pocket crap. I wonder if he would use it.

Your bowls are so cute! You have a great idea for using those strips that you trim off the side of your quilt sandwiches! Brilliant! I must try these!

Oh, why? Now I am going to need to try that. It looks like so much fun, and what you get is something so usable.
